When living in Kansas I had the privilege of going to Camp Wood YMCA and viewing it as a parent , Camp Wood YMCA is a loving , nurturing environment . I would recommend to any family member who is looking for the gift of a " forever experience " to give the gift of a stay at Camp Wood YMCA !
My son attended Camp Wood for the fist time this summer. He chose the horse day camp and absolutely loved it! He can't wait to go back and stay an entire week. The facility and staff are amazing!
I have sent my children to Camp Wood for 3 years running, and it gets better every year. They love the counselors, the food, the fun and the friendships they've made. My son wants to be a counselor in training next year. Great people. Beautiful camp. 2 thumbs up.
